Inspiring Children's Book about Friendship

Benjamin and Honka Backyard Adventure is a sweet story about friendship for young children. The colorful child friendly illustrations enhance the story. Benjamin, who is six years old, spots a brown duck in his backyard pond. He loves the honk sound of the duck and names the duck Honka. Benjamin and Honka eventually become friends and share so much backyard adventure together. This book teaches the value of friendship to children.

This book is beautifully written, and my girls and I love all of the pictures and animation of the story. My girls and I loved the narration of an unlikely pair for a friendship. Every page was filled with color and wonder. It's also a great learning lesson for how to feed animals that live in the wild. Recommend this book!

Great illustrations and cool author!

I picked out this book because I thought the illustrations were especially impressive and I loved the idea of reading a book written by a wildlife photographer! The story is very sweet and interesting. I also learned something new, and that’s not to feed birds bread because it can be bad for them. I’d love to read another one of this author’s books!

Good Book For Little Ones!

Nice little story about a boy and a duck. It's a fairly cute and simple tale about a boy who meets a funny duck and they play together. There's no excitement or adventure to be had here, just a boy and a duck in a backyard. It's perfect for fairly young ones but if your child is a little more developed, it might be too simple for them. Overall, it's a good read for your little ones.

An excellent adventure of Benjamin and Honka for our twins - highly recommend it! Beautifully illustrated
